- Promotional material for the Galaxy S21 series has been leaked.
- It shows Samsung is removing the charging adapter and headphones in the box.
- It may also indicate that some models do not have expandable memory.
Samsung’s new flagships are barely two days away, but the leaks just won’t stop. Reliable tipster Roland Quandt of WinFuture has now released marketing collateral for the Galaxy S21 series that confirms what you have in the box and what is not.
As mentioned in several rumors, Samsung will give the charging adapter a passport, which will make the packaging of the new phones slimmer and more compact. Like Apple, Samsung could justify its decision as an environmentally friendly move.
However, what you get in the box is a USB-C data cable, eject pin, and a quick start guide.
This time there are no headphones there either. This makes sense because Samsung already sells a number of TWS headphones and is also launching its new Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the S21 series. The phone maker likely wants people to buy these instead of using in-box headphones like the AKG headphones it bundles with the flagship S20.
When you start marketing the included storage to make sure no one notices that you left out the expand option. More marketing collateral from retail for those # GalaxyS21(Plus) and the # GalaxyS21Ultra 1/2 pic.twitter.com/YpDpBSLpj3

Other promotional material from Quandt shows how Samsung is marketing different memory variants for the Galaxy S21 Plus and the S21 Ultra. The tipster suggests that the company does this because the phones don’t have expandable storage. This has been rumored for a while too, but we’ll have to see which variants don’t have microSD storage if this is confirmed.
