Samsung Galaxy S21 FE reportedly delayed because of this reason

Samsung Galaxy S21 fe render leak2

TL; DR

  • Samsung has reportedly postponed the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE.
  • The company could host its next unpacked event late in the first week or the second week of August.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is perhaps the most anticipated phone right now. However, several reports are now suggesting that we may have to wait a little longer to see the phone in its skin.

According to Yonhap news, Samsung has postponed the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE to September or October. The phone should hit the market in August, according to a leaked product roadmap.

The report goes on to claim that Samsung has decided to postpone the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE until fall in order to focus its marketing efforts on its foldable phones.

Based on a leak from a credible tipster, we recently reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 could hit the market on August 3rd. Yonhap claims the date is wrong and we should instead expect Samsung to host its Unpacked event for the foldable phones, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 later in the first or second week of August.

Another report recently claimed that Samsung stopped manufacturing the Galaxy S21 FE due to the global chip shortage. Samsung later dismissed the report, saying that nothing has been decided on the alleged production suspension.

Whatever the reason, it looks like we’ll have to hold out for a while before we unpack the Galaxy S21 FE. Until then, Samsung’s new foldables will do their best this year to fill the void in the Note range. Let’s see how Samsung’s revamped product pipeline performs over the long term.
