Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could launch as early as next week
TL; DR
- A new rumor has it that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S21 FE on September 8th.
- This would be earlier than the Galaxy S20 FE’s debut, but later than the originally rumored launch date.
Rumor has it that the announced launch date of the Galaxy S21 FE is now Wednesday, September 8th. The date is said to be from a Samsung employee, but we’re still warning against circling your calendar in permanent ink now.
However, there is much evidence that a launch is imminent. The Galaxy S21 FE was recently spotted on the Google Play Console and the Bluetooth SIG websites. The phone was also spied on at the FCC in late June. It’s also worth noting that Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE in mid-September last year and added some support to a launch date next month.
When the phone finally lands there is no telling whether you will get your hands on one. We have seen reports suggesting limited adoption only in the US and Europe, a symptom of the ongoing global chip shortage. Regions receiving the Galaxy S21 FE could also receive a significant discount from its predecessor. Again, we have to wait for the official availability and price details.
