TL; DR
- More details and pictures of the Galaxy S21 FE have appeared on TENAA.
- The updated listing now indicates a new camera array with a 32 MP primary sensor.
Earlier this week, a TENAA list spilled details on the Chinese Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. It didn’t say much, but it did give us an idea of the phone’s size and battery capacity. Now this listing has been updated with new images and camera specifications.
The listing (h / t MySmartPrice) shows several device pictures confirming the design shown in the recent video leaks by Evan Blass. The recordings are currently not visible in the listing, however MySmartPrice managed to get her. See the pictures below.
Galaxy S21 FE: camera specifications
Speaking of imaging: According to the listing, the Galaxy S21 FE will have a triple camera array with a 32 MP camera. As a reference, the S20 FE had a 12 MP sensor. However, the alternative cameras of the S21 FE appear to be unchanged from the S20 FE. This includes a 12 megapixel sensor (likely with an ultra wide angle lens) and an 8 megapixel sensor (possibly a 3x telephoto snapper). The selfie camera also houses a 12 MP sensor compared to the 32 MP sensor on the Galaxy S20 FE.
TENAA also lists the phone’s RAM / memory configurations. In China, expect at least 8GB versions of RAM with a choice of 128GB or 256GB of storage. There is also an SD card slot, which might make the S21 FE more attractive to some. A 2.8 GHz octa-core CPU, presumably the Snapdragon 888, should take care of the computing power. We continue to expect Exynos silicon to be used in some regions.
Finally, we get a confirmation of the device’s screen resolution. The 6.4-inch display is said to have 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. This revision should make the smaller screen a little denser than on the S20 FE, but the device should also be more compact overall.
