Samsung Galaxy S21 FE appears on Google Play Console with key specs
TL; DR
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is one of the most anticipated phones right now. Samsung is done with the launch of its foldable phones, and the S21 FE will most likely be its final flagship of the year, albeit at a cheaper price. Multiple leaks and listings have already revealed a lot about the design and specs of the Galaxy S21 FE. We now have another official confirmation that the phone is on board with premium specs.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared in the Google Play Console. Seen from MyFixGuide, the listing confirms that the Snapdragon 888 processor would provide power to the phone. The highest clock speed listed is 2.8GHz, which means you can expect the phone to perform at the same level as the Galaxy S21 series. However, this has also been confirmed by previous FCC and TENAA listings.
Interestingly, the Google Play Console lists the Galaxy S21 FE with 6GB of RAM. This is the smallest startup RAM size on any of Samsung’s Snapdragon 888 phones. In contrast, the Galaxy S21 series starts with 8 GB of basic RAM. The S21 FE could have an 8GB RAM variant too, but reducing the base RAM could help Samsung sell the phone at cheaper prices.
Elsewhere the listing also mentions a resolution of 2,009 x 1,080. Ideally, however, the phone should have a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080. This is the same screen resolution as the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus.
