- Users continue to report problems scrolling and zooming in / out of the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has been plagued by touchscreen issues for some users since its inception. After two failed attempts to completely fix the problems, Samsung has now released a third software update for the phone that is once again intended to fix touchscreen problems.
According to SamMobileSamsung is now introducing firmware version G781BXXU1ATK1 for the Snapdragon 865 variants of the Galaxy S20 FE. The update brings the November security patch to the phones and also offers stability improvements for the touchscreen. However, users with affected handsets will continue to have screen issues even after the update.

One user writes on Reddit that the latest Galaxy S20 FE update fixes nervous scrolling to some but not entirely. Another reports that the touchscreen experience has improved but still does not meet the requirements. The main problem that remains to be addressed is how to zoom in and out of the screen. The action apparently leads to severe stuttering and erratic behavior.
It looks like Samsung is there most of the time in fixing the screen issues on the S20 FE. Another update or something should do the trick if there is nothing wrong with the hardware. Still, it would have been great if Samsung had fixed these issues before the phone was launched. Nobody likes to buy a new device and doesn’t have the basics as they should.
