Samsung Galaxy Note 20 updates: All the latest releases!
Update: September 7, 2020 (6:45 a.m. ET): The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are now receiving their second software update. The first, described in the original article below, was released even before the phones went on sale.
The new OTA update with build number N98XFXXS1ATH9 was discovered by SamMobile and has reportedly reached some international models of the phone in Germany and Southeast Europe. It adds the September Android security patches to the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. Apart from that, the update doesn’t add any new features.
You can search for the OTA by going to Settings> Software update on your Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.

Samsung usually does an excellent job of rolling out critical updates to all versions of its flagships at the same time. Note, however, that different versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 may receive updates at different times. Samsung released the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra on August 5th. Pre-orders for the two flagships of the 2020 Note went online on August 6th. Both phones will be available from August 21st through mobile operators. The Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra both have an Android 10-based One UI 2.5 ready to use.
Samsung has already opened the beta program for One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. So you can assume that the Galaxy Note 20 duo will receive the new software by the end of 2020. So the company has also promised three major versions of Android for the phones that are ready for Android 13.

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are now getting their first software update before they hit the shelves. Everyone who buys the new Notes is waiting for this first update.
As discovered by SamMobileThe first software update for the Galaxy Note 20 series brings stability and performance improvements. It also fixes some bugs and adds new features, but Samsung didn’t cover the details in the changelog. The update is almost 500MB and includes the August security patches for the phones.
