The Samsung Galaxy M51 made its arch in Europe earlier this month. The M-series smartphone with top range has now confirmed details for the Indian market.
The Korean company has also cleared up some vague details from the previous announcement, including the chipset used. That role goes to the Snapdragon 730G, which is also used by the Poco X2 and Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Buyers of the Galaxy M51 also receive 128 GB of storage and either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
For photographers, the Galaxy M51 offers a quad rear camera array with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary camera, a 12-megapixel 123-degree ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor . At the front there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the hole of the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen.

The headlining feature of the device remains a 7,000 mAh battery that will embarrass the rest of Samsung’s flagship fleet in 2020. That is 2,000 mAh larger than the battery of the Galaxy S20 Ultra and around 2,500 mAh larger than the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It’s not yet clear how long the M51 will last between charges, but a 25W charger is included.
The package is rounded off by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack and two SIM slots with a dedicated microSD card slot.
