Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go LTE features leaked
TL; DR
- There will be an LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go at some point.
- A promotional video strongly suggests that this model could include a touchscreen.
- If this is confirmed and Samsung can keep the price down, the LTE model could be one of the best Chromebooks out there.
Samsung confirmed that there will also be an LTE model of the device. While that option is still not available, a new promotional video strongly suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go could be a little different with LTE.
First discovered by GizmoChina, the promotional video below shows a touchscreen in action on the LTE model of the Galaxy Chromebook Go. Convince yourself at the 0:40 mark:
Now it is possible that Samsung has simulated these images for the video and the LTE version of the Chromebook does not have a touchscreen. However, if it did, Samsung could have a near-perfect Chromebook in its hands. With a top-notch design, decent specs, an abundance of connectivity options, a touchscreen, and a price that isn’t much higher than the $ 299 WiFi-only model, this hypothetical Chromebook could be a big deal.
However, we are not yet aware of any hard details about the LTE model of the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. This video should be quite a hit with Chromebook buyers! Stay tuned.
