TL; DR

  • Huami’s alleged Amazfit smartwatch trio has been leaked.
  • The latest dump gives us a better look at what GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3 could be.
  • The smartwatches could hit the market in China on October 12th.

Rumor has it that three new Amazfit smartwatches will hit the market next week in China, possibly in the form of the GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3. Now, thanks to several leaked data, we’re getting an early taste of what to expect can render renderings and key specifications of the trio.

The leaked details come over PassionateGeekz (h / t MySmartPrice) and suggest that Huami bring bigger displays and even more sports tracking modes to its latest models.

Let’s start with the GTR 3. The watch could pack a round 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels, making it the smallest of the three devices. This case can house a 450 mAh battery that is said to be good for 24 days between charges. It could also land in two colorways, namely Thunder Black and Moonlight Gray. The GTR 3 Pro may be available in Sport and Classic versions. Either way, it is said to include a 1.45-inch AMOLED screen with a shorter body than its predecessor and a thicker display.

Our verdict: Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2 in the test

Finally, the GTS 3 could hit the market with a 1.75-inch rectangular screen with a resolution of 450 x 390. When it comes to color variants, buyers can choose from three color variants, including Tera Rose, Ivory White and Graphite Black.

Amazfit GTR 3 and GTS 3: what else to expect

As for the common features, all three watches could include even more sports tracking modes. While the wearables predecessors were able to keep an eye on 90 sports, the three new watches will supposedly support 150. That’s probably more than anyone would ever need. Shoppers can also access “swim heart rate” smart devices, an SpO2 sensor, and breathing exercises.

Additionally, the Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity could offer quick charge support, built-in music storage, and Spotify support. Prices for these watches can range from $ 200 to $ 250, dwarfing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Fitbit Versa 3, and other smartwatch heavyweights.

Whatever Huawei demands of the trio, we hope the company improves its fitness tracking accuracy. In our GTS 2 and GTR 2 tests, we found that both heart rate and SpO2 monitoring were absent.

Amazfit’s new trio of smartwatches could take cover in China on October 12th, so keep your ears peeled for official details.
