Redmi to launch new true wireless earbuds in India next week

Xiaomi will introduce new Redmi True Wireless earbuds in India next week.
The Buds have a Qualcomm chipset, Bluetooth 5.2 support and an alleged battery life of 30 hours.
The event will take place on September 3rd.

According to the teaser material, Redmi’s Buds will be the first to feature a Qualcomm chipset that also has aptX support. The Buds also offer Bluetooth 5.2 support, a battery life of 30 hours and a splash-proof and sweat-proof construction. The buds will also have “smart touch” controls.

We also get a quick look at the buds themselves. Aesthetically, they appear to be similar to the Redmi AirDots 3, complete with a rounded case, flat earphone body, and silicone earbuds. The teased specs also align almost perfectly with the Redmi AirDots 3’s cheat sheet. However, considering that the launch event will also host Redmi’s latest affordable smartphone, the brand could also introduce an entirely new pair of budget buds.

Even so, we won’t have to wait long for confirmation. The Redmi 10 Prime and the new earbuds will be unveiled at the launch event on September 3 from 12 p.m. IST (2:30 p.m. ET).
