You may not have to spend a lot to get a 5G phone in the UK. Realme has released its 5G version of the 7 in the country and it is reportedly the cheapest 5G phone in Europe.
The updated phone is available now for £ 279 (approximately $ 370) or £ 229 during a Black Friday sale November 27-30. That’s considerably more than the Base 7, but you also get a smoother 120Hz display (compared to 90Hz) as well as an updated MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset that offers dual 5G SIM support.

It’s a well-known device that goes beyond these upgrades. The Realme 7 5G revolves around a 6.5-inch 1080p display and includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. You also get a 48MP f / 1.8 main camera as well as an 8MP f / 2.3 ultra wide camera, a 2MP f / 2.4 macro, and a 2MP f / 2.4 black and white portrait camera.
You still get a 5,000 mAh battery despite the additional power-hungry 5G, although the fast wired charging with 30 W helps to make up for it by getting you to a 50% charge in 26 minutes.
Two other devices are coming to the UK for the first time. Realme’s Buds Air Pro are true wireless earbuds with an AirPods-like design and active noise cancellation for £ 80 (around $ 106). These will go on sale on December 3rd. For an affordable smartwatch, the Realme Watch S (above) has heart rate, blood oxygen, and IP68 water resistance for £ 75, framed by a 1.3-inch circular display. It will also go on sale on December 3rd and will support the iPhone for the first time alongside Android.
