Realme Watch 2 shows up on FCC with complete specs, design details
- The Realme Watch 2 was posted on the FCC website with full design and specification details.
- It has the same design as its predecessor, but this time it has a larger battery.
- Most of the functions are the same as on the first Realme Watch.
Realme’s first attempt at making a smartwatch wasn’t that successful. Yes it was affordable, but it lacked accurate fitness tracking skills and made it very difficult for us to choose it over other budget fitness trackers. Now the company is preparing to introduce a successor.
The Realme Watch 2 was posted on a listing on the FCC website, revealing its name, design, and features.
Unlike the Realme Watch S Pro, which is a premium device, the Realme Watch 2 retains the same 1.4-inch square display as its predecessor. When we checked the first watch, we found that the screen was dull and difficult to see in outside conditions. Unfortunately, this could also be the case with the Watch 2, but we won’t know for sure until we test it.
The fitness tracking features of the upcoming Realme smartwatch include SpO2 monitoring, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, various workout tracking, sleep tracking, and a meditation mode.
This time you also get a battery upgrade. The Realme Watch 2 has a 305 mAh cell compared to the 160 mAh battery of the previous model. This should easily take longer than a week or ten days since the Realme Watch hit its promised seven-day battery life.
Elsewhere, you get Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. There’s no word on a launch date, but it shouldn’t be too far off given the FCC listing.
