Realme UI 2.0 revealed: Doubling down on customization

Realme’s user interface has a lot in common with Stablemate Oppo’s ColorOS. Realme’s Skin and Oppos ColorOS 7 offer a stock-like version of Android and sharing features.
Oppo unveiled ColorOS 11 last week, and now it’s Realme’s turn to launch Realme UI 2.0. What does the new Android skin bring to the table?
Some of the most notable features of Realme UI 2.0 focus on customization. You now have more system color customizations (e.g. notification bar, shortcut buttons), more Always On Display customizations (including custom AOD patterns), and more font tweaks (including the ability to adjust the thickness / thinness of your font).

Other notable features of Realme UI 2.0 include an improved dark mode, floating windows, improved digital wellbeing, private area to hide apps / files, and a security shield. The latter is a number of privacy and security features, e.g. B. a call block list, app authorization security, payment service security and the security features of Android 11. The company has also touted Subtitle sewing (You can choose a subtitle for a screenshot of a video) and Realme Share for local sharing.
Realme used its Narzo 20 launch event to confirm that the new Android update will be available for the Realme X50 Pro first, through an Early Access program on September 24th and then through an Open Beta program End of October. According to the brand, a stable version will be on the phone by the end of November.
The company has not officially confirmed a full list of devices discontinued for Realme UI 2.0, however a picture Allegedly from the event it appears that the company will offer an early access program in three waves. We have contacted Realme to verify the authenticity of this information and are waiting for a response. Even so, the obvious details of the early access roadmap are below:

It’s interesting to note that Realme 3 wasn’t on the list last year. Even the all-new Narzo 20A, which was literally announced today, will supposedly not get access to any form of Realme UI 2.0 until the second quarter of 2021. Hopefully the official roadmap will add these phones to the list.
