TL; DR
- Realme has confirmed that the Realme Pad and Realme Book are on their way.
- There is no information about prices or availability yet.
- In addition, the company has launched two smartwatches and a vacuum robot in Europe.
Realme just announced the Realme GT for global markets, which makes a strong case for being one of the cheapest Snapdragon 888 flagships out there. But the Chinese brand had more to share at the launch event.
For starters, Realme confirmed that the Realme Pad tablet and Realme Book laptop devices are indeed real and on the way. There is no word on an exact timeline, however, other than an image provided (shown at the top of the page) indicating that the laptop is “coming soon”.
However, we take a closer look at the laptop and reveal a Macbook-like design and two USB-C ports on the left. Images and information previously obtained from Android authority show a 3: 2 screen with relatively thin bezels and Realme branding on the lid.
In the meantime, the included Realme Pad image (see above) matches the image we received last week. In other words, you can spot a decently sized camera hump, metal-like build, and some sort of square design. Realme says the tablet is an “entertainment first” device and has a slim form factor, but that’s all we know for now.
What else has Realme announced?
The manufacturer affiliated with the BBK has also launched the Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro in Europe. These watches were recently launched in Malaysia and offer a whole range of functions on paper.
The watches share several features in common, such as support for up to 90 sport modes, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, IP68 water / dust resistance, live watch faces, and typical smartwatch functions (e.g., notifications, etc.).
Otherwise, Realme’s Pro model (see above) offers a 1.75-inch color screen, up to 14 days of endurance and integrated GPS. The standard model offers a smaller 1.4-inch color screen, up to 12 days of juice and no integrated GPS function.
Calculate € 54.99 (~ $ 67) for the Realme Watch 2, while the Realme Watch 2 Pro costs € 74.99 (~ $ 91). The watches will be available from tomorrow (June 16) on the Amazon and Realme websites.
Finally, the company also announced the Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum for Europe. The vacuum starts at 299 euros and will also be available via AliExpress from June 16. Realme’s vacuum cleaner has LiDAR support, sweeping and mopping, customizable cleaning schedules, and a 300ml water tank.
