Realme launched the Realme GT flagship earlier this year, offering powerful core specs at a lower price than typical flagships. And it looks like Indian consumers won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on it.
The manufacturer Approved at his India 5G webinar that the Realme GT series is actually coming to India “this quarter”. It also noted that “multiple products” are coming in the series. That said, we can expect the previously announced Realme GT, as well as devices like the rumored one Realme GT Master Edition.
Realme’s GT flagship features a Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 4,500 mAh battery with 65 W charge, and a 120 Hz OLED screen. The phone has a regular starting price of € 449 for the 8GB / 128GB variant, so we’re assuming Indian prices will be cheaper.

The company also had some 5G-related news to share, saying it will launch 5G phones for under Rs 10,000 (~ $ 134) in India. Unfortunately, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, told the webinar that these devices are not expected to hit the market until next year. So don’t expect to get your hands on them anytime soon.
Realme also noted that all of its upcoming phones priced at Rs 15,000 (~ $ 20) or higher will now have 5G support. So anyone looking for an affordable 5G phone should keep an eye out for these devices. Finally, the manufacturer announced that it would invest $ 300 million in research and development related to 5G over a period of two years.
