If you have participated in any of our previous Reader’s Choice votes, you are most welcome. Everything is going as usual for 2020. If not, don’t worry – it’s very easy!
Voting will begin on Friday December 18th and will last until December 23rd. Then we will announce the winner of Android AuthorityReader’s Choice Award on Christmas Eve!
We’re starting by narrowing our shortlist from 16 devices to just four. The 16 controversial phones were selected after we selected the top performers in our scientific tests. The results were then measured against intangible criteria like value, availability, software support, and more. We’ve also set a limit of three phones per manufacturer and excluded Apple devices (possibly next year).
Voting with Reader’s Choice starts now!
If your all-time favorite didn’t make the cut, don’t feel bad. It wasn’t easy to narrow the list down to just 16 – it turned out that 2020 was a great year for smartphones. But rest assured that those that are controversial represent the best of the best.
The vote to bring the 16 down to four will take place on this website via the poll at the end of this article. Voting ends early on Monday, December 21st, so get your votes asap. We will then take the top 4 and broadcast the love on our social media channels. Unfortunately, due to survey restrictions on these platforms, we cannot add all 16 candidates. Instead, we offer the last four.
We’ll start with YouTube and Twitter to bring it down to our final two, then add Instagram and Facebook to make the final decision and crown your final winner. Both social surveys are conducted for 24 hours.
Afraid of missing a vote? Do not be! We’ll be adding links to all of the polls here in this post. So bookmark this page if you want to cast multiple votes for your favorite 2020 phone.
