Razer’s latest concept is a gaming chair with a roll-out display

Razer is not only showing up with new laptops at CES, but is also bringing two of its well-known out-there concepts to the fair. The technology company has unveiled Project Brooklyn, a concept gaming chair with an integrated display, and the Project Hazel intelligent face mask.
Project Brooklyn might seem like a regular gaming chair at first, but Razer hides a 60-inch OLED rollout screen in its backbone. Without a room-sized setup or a VR helmet, you can experience a comprehensive gaming experience and put away the screen if you just want a seat.

You would also get HyperSense vibration feedback through the gaming chair, Razer said. With collapsible tables, you can switch between mouse and keyboard and gamepad setups in no time. And since this is Razer, you’ll find Chroma RGB lighting along the seat cushions and stand.
Project Hazel aims to address some of the most common face mask problems. A VoiceAmp feature would use a built-in microphone and amplifier to improve your speech and avoid creating muffled sound masks. To avoid waste, you need rechargeable, replaceable disc fans, which you can disinfect with a UV-equipped wireless fast charging box. Chroma RGB lighting, meanwhile, would help illuminate the otherwise very functional design.
As with all Razer concepts, there is no guarantee that the Project Brooklyn gaming chair or Project Hazel mask will reach the public. However, they are not just unique technological showcases. The company stated that it will test the feasibility of the chair with “top athletes and influencers” and plans to optimize the mask through tests and feedback. Don’t be surprised if you see something like these products in the future, even if there are significant changes.
