Razer Book 13 is a laptop for productivity (or gaming)

In 2016, Razer launched the first Blade stealth laptop. This gaming PC did not have an integrated graphics card. Instead, you’d plug it into the Razer Core accessory, which could house a graphics card of your choice. That way, you could get powerful gaming graphics when you needed them, but also portability when you didn’t.

Today Razer launches a new laptop that goes one step further: the Razer Book 13. In contrast to the Blade Stealth series, the Book 13 was designed with productivity in mind. Therefore, Razer’s first effort is to enter the ultrabook market rather than just targeting its products towards gamers and creatives.
Granted, you could still play on Book 13 if you wanted to. It doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, but it does support all of the Razer Core accessories.

Price and availability
If you look at the design, specs, and pricing of the Razer Book 13, it’s clear that Razer is headed for the ultrabook market, which is currently dominated by Dell with its XPS 13 series. At the same time, it’s also part of the MacBook Pro market that the Book 13 owes some of its design inspiration to.
The FHD + non-contact version of Book 13 will be available from $ 1,200 / EUR 1,300. That will come with the Intel Core i5 (11th generation) and 8 GB of RAM. The updated model with a touchscreen display, Core i7 processor, and 16 GB of RAM starts at $ 1,600. The all-out model with a UHD + display and 512GB of storage is likely to top the $ 2,000 mark.
The Razer Book 13 will be available this month from Razer.com and Razer authorized retailers.
