When should the second season of Raised by Wolves appear?
At the moment there is no clear word about when the second season will hit HBO Max. We know of a Twitter message from actor Abubakar Salim that filming for the second season began in early March 2021. Chances are we’ll have to wait until 2022 for Raised By Wolves season 2 to finally premiere.
What is the second season about?
The first season of Raised By Wolves provided the framework for the show. In a future timeline in which the earth was destroyed by a war between religious and atheist people, a pair of androids flies into space with a small group of embryos. The androids named Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Salim) raise the one person who emerged from these embryos for several years on a strange world. However, the group later learns that other people have escaped Earth, including several other young children.
Later in the first season, Mom learns that she somehow got pregnant. In the final episode of the first season, she gives birth to a flying snake-like alien and not a human. In Season 2, the two androids, as well as the other remnants of humanity, will likely try to survive on this alien world while also grappling with this snake creature.
meeting reports that several new cast members have signed up for Season 2. Perhaps the most interesting new role is Grandmother, an old android played by actress Selina Jones. Grandmother was built thousands of years ago by the civilization that lived on the planet that is now home to the few human survivors. How she gets along with her mother and father and the refugees remains to be seen.
