Ericsson recently reported that the average usage per smartphone now exceeds 10 GB per month. So it is clear that people are consuming a lot of mobile data on their phones. We also know that many people only use their mobile phones as a means of connecting, be it for financial reasons or because they simply do not have a landline internet connection.
On the other hand, I work from home and rarely leave home these days. So my mobile data usage averages less than 1 GB per month. It doesn’t help that the two big providers are charging around $ 6 for 1GB of monthly prepaid data. So I totally understand if you don’t use a lot of mobile data volume either.
