Screenshots are one of the most important features on smartphones these days. They provide a convenient way to store and share content that cannot easily be downloaded or otherwise shared. We have even seen numerous OEMs implement scrolling screenshot functionality, which means that no webpage or thread is too long.
There are several ways to take a screenshot, however, and that asked us how Android Authority Readers do it. Let us know by taking the survey below.
One of the most reliable ways to take a screenshot across devices is to press the power button and the volume down button at the same time. Screenshots can also be created with a voice assistant (e.g. Bixby, Google Assistant), via the quick settings or the button menus and via other software links.
In the latter case, Samsung offered a screenshot function via the Edge control panel or a palm swipe gesture. Huawei provides screenshots by tapping the knuckle twice on the screen and other OEMs offer this function via the Quick Ball function or a downward swipe with three fingers.
