Playing for something new but not interested in breaking the bank? Sony currently has two sales on the PlayStation Store, one for multiplayer games that run through July 15, and a July savings sale that misleadingly doesn’t last all of July – you have one until the 23rd to take advantage of it .
There are hundreds of games for sale. Here are our tips.
Sony
With the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, announced for PlayStation 5, now is a good time to re-immerse yourself in Zero Dawn’s excellent RPG universe. Frozen Wilds is a meaty DLC for the game and costs just $ 5 until July 23.
Bloodborne Complete Edition
FromSoftware
Bloodborne was released five years ago, in 2015, closer to the beginning of the PlayStation 4 lifespan than to the end. Still, it remains one of the best games on the console – if you can deal with the difficulties. The Complete Edition will cost $ 18 until July 23 – 50% off.
If you’re looking for a punishing FromSoftware game but have already played Bloodborne, you’ll get a 75% discount on the Deluxe Edition of Dark Souls III until July 23.

Assassin’s Creed will be walking the Vikings path later this year, but before you go there you might want to take a trip back to ancient Greece. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Deluxe Edition is 75% cheaper until July 23rd.
Cube / EA
Battlefield V will be two years old in November, but in addition to its single player mode, it still has a vibrant online multiplayer community. By July 15, it’s $ 12.
Activision Blizzard
Most of the games on this list are likely to be intense. If you’re looking for an easier adventure, the old loyal Crash Bandicoot has your back. You can put together N.Sane Trilogy (a remake of Crash’s three original PlayStation games) and a remake of Crash Team Racing for $ 37.
