The CEO cited a massive sales success for Zotye in his home country and said the company would work to regulate overseas business before considering expansion into the United States. Zotye, together with HAAH, had contracted dealers in 100 US markets to sell an affordable crossover of the brand. HAAH confirmed the message with a roadshow, but declined to comment.

Retailers will be able to keep the franchise, and as a bonus, Hale said that they can sell another Chinese brand: Vantas.
