Photographs that can be mistaken to be graphic vector art

Photographs : These fashion images are by Erik Madigan Hack. They can be easily mistaken for graphic vector art prints, but are actually photographs. His abilities in portrait, fashion, and architectural photography emerged eventually and he never looked back. This kind of photography is known as Architectural Photography. An architectural photographer can create dramatic images of things that perhaps at first glance, do not seem to be photography by any standard; they look like highly polished computer generated images. Architectural photography is a highly specialized field. It can be used if the subject is too mundane, or to expose it to a whole new level of being ‘high class’. Coming back to point, these photographs are in fact heavily stylized photographs of Junya Watanabe’s fall 2015. It is cleverly shot to create an almost flat, one dimensional look and feel.

Have a look at them:

The images look like paper cut outs. Interestingly, dye transfer prints were created to make this kind of an effect. Used as a sort of up veal for the entire process.

A burgundy cape on a purple gown combined with a teal headgear. This image simply looks animated and draws similarity with the Evil queen from ‘snow white and the seven dwarfs’. But it is only a real life model posing for an architectural photograph.

This architectural photograph gives the impression of a paper like outfit, fit only for dolls, especially porcelain dolls.

Architectural designs in highly-polished fashion shoots. With a quick swiveling motion of the device, refining an in-camera double exposure technique is possible.

If glitz and glamour of fashion and film industry attracts you, then this the most suitable form of career selection. This kind of photography never got publicly recognized for the sensational achievement that it is. It is still a developing art, which would find its use in the alleys of fashion market soon. Its evolution shall take the industry by storm, so much so that every designer shall crave these kind of photographs over only high definition ones.
