- The OnePlus Watch is getting some much-needed improvements and bug fixes.
- The company has also promised to introduce the always-on display and other features in the future.
The OnePlus Watch didn’t get off to a great start. The ratings of the wearable were largely unfavorable due to inaccurate activity tracking, missing marquee functions at start, GPS dropouts and more. It seems that OnePlus took note of many of these issues in the latest update that is now being rolled out to the device.
This is the first wireless OnePlus Watch update with firmware number B.40. It will initially be rolled out to devices in the US and Canada, followed by other countries in the coming days.
The changelog of the latest OnePlus Watch update shows that the company has made improvements to things like GPS, fitness tracking, notifications, and more. It even crushes some known bugs. However, you may not be very happy with it as some features that were previously missing are still unavailable.
OnePlus says it will bring out the always-on display feature, remote camera control, all 110 training modes, and other attributes in a future update. There’s no word on when this update will be released, but reports suggest it could be released in mid-May.
