OnePlus revives its Ideas program to take your Oxygen OS suggestions
- OnePlus has started an Ideas 2.0 program to receive your suggestions on how to improve the Oxygen OS.
- The most popular ideas could find their way into future versions of the software.
- The current initiative lasts until November 6th.
OnePlus has clearly had success with its ideas program as it brings the concept back. The phone maker has launched an Ideas 2.0 campaign that again features fan feedback and suggestions on how to improve Oxygen OS.
They will again be sending feature requests through the OnePlus community voting for the ideas they like best. Each entry will receive three XP (points) up to a maximum of three entries per day, and the top seven entries will receive 50 XP and community medals. If OnePlus likes your feature enough to implement it, get a VIP ticket and travel to an offline event – though given the pandemic, we wouldn’t expect to use those prices for a while.

Submissions must be in English, limited to one idea at a time, and focus on new ideas rather than software updates. OnePlus warned that duplicates could be deleted.
Ideas 2.0 is now open and OnePlus will be forwarding your feedback through November 6th.
There is, of course, no guarantee that any suggestion will result in a OnePlus phone with shipping. However, the company has used feature requests in the past, drawing attention to their community roots. Don’t be surprised if a particularly clever brainstorming session eventually makes it to Oxygen OS, even if it takes a while.
