OnePlus Nord 200 specs leaked in full, 5G Snapdragon chip incoming

OnePlus is preparing to launch a successor to the Nord 100 – the OnePlus Nord 200 – in North America. After the company revealed a picture of the phone last week, tipster Evan Blass has now outed all of its specs.

In addition to a rendering of the phone, Blass has published a full data sheet of the OnePlus Nord 200. Since we already knew what the device looked like, let’s focus on what’s going on under the hood.

OnePlus Nord 200 specifications

According to Blass, the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset will lead the OnePlus Nord 200. The octa-core SoC is designed for budget smartphones and already powers devices like the Oppo A93 5G, the Nokia X20 and more. The silicon is reportedly paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB.

Elsewhere, the OnePlus Nord 200 could get a 6.49-inch LCD FHD + display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The leaked datasheet lists a 5,000 mAh battery with an 18 W charge.

The phone’s camera setup is said to include a 13 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. It should allow for HDR, macro and portrait photography. In addition to Nightscape, slow-motion and time-lapse options, the data sheet also lists a Pro mode.

A 16MP snapper is expected in advance.

As the OnePlus Nord 200 succeeds the company’s cheapest phone ever, don’t expect a fingerprint sensor in the on-board display. Blass reveals that the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.
