TL; DR
- Alleged renders of the OnePlus Nord 2 have been leaked.
- The design of the phone appears to be largely inspired by the OnePlus 9 series.
The leakers warn that the renders are based on an early prototype CAD, so you can expect slight differences in the final OnePlus Nord 2 that hits the market.
Even so, the design of the new Nord is very similar to that of the OnePlus 9 and the recently announced OnePlus Nord N200. It has a similar vertically stacked camera array on the back and a punch-hole display on the front. The edges are narrow and the phone has the power button and the brand warning slider on the right edge. The volume buttons are on the left side of the device.
In addition, the latest OnePlus Nord 2 renders show a triple camera system on the back. Previously leaked specs suggested the phone would get a 50 MP main sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra wide and another 2 MP sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie snapper is expected to be in the display punch hole.
As far as the connections are concerned, the OnePlus Nord 2 Renderings shows a USB-C port on the bottom. It doesn’t look like the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, but neither does the Original Nord.
Rumors about the specifications of OnePlus Nord 2
Under the hood, the Nord 2 is supposed to carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Other specs previously leaked include a 6.43-inch AMOLED 90Hz display, 4,500mAh battery, 30W or 65W charge, and Android 11.
