  • OnePlus is apparently working on the Nord 2, code-named Denniz.
  • Little is known about the Nord successor at the moment.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord earlier this year, followed by the Nord N10 and Nord N100 last month. Now it looks like the company is already working on a successor to the Standard North model.

More common tidbit Max Jambor posted a cryptic teaser on Twitter for a product code-named Denniz. Jambor then acknowledged PhoneArena that Denniz is the code name of the OnePlus Nord 2. Check out the teaser picture below.

The Nord was originally codenamed Avicii after the late Swedish DJ, so we suspect Denniz is a reference to the late Swedish DJ Denniz Pop.

In any case, we don’t know anything else about the OnePlus Nord 2 at the moment. But if it has something to do with the original model then we expect a Snapdragon 700 series processor (as rumored to be) Snapdragon 775 series), High refresh rate OLED screen, 5G connectivity and 30W + fast charge.

Our main complaint with the Nord was that the picture quality was just fine. Hopefully OnePlus will improve its image processing game with the Nord 2.
