OnePlus 9 series is coming, and this is the code-name
- A leaker says the OnePlus 9 series is coming and will be codenamed Lemonade.
- There’s still no word on the actual specs and features.
It seems like the 2021 leak train has already left the station when we got our first look at what appears to be renders for the Galaxy S30 and S30 Ultra. Now it looks like OnePlus is getting on the train too.
Frequent OnePlus yummy Max J. tweeted An image that today shows an obvious code name for the OnePlus 9 series and states that it is called Lemonade. Take a look at the picture below.
The leaker also confirmed in a Follow up tweet that this is actually the code name for the OnePlus 9 series in case of doubt. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a OnePlus device codenamed Lemonade as XDA member revealed the name Last month. However, it seems like the first time the code name is definitely linked to the OnePlus 9 family.
Poll is loadingWe still expect a standard OnePlus 9 and a Pro version when the launch day comes at some point. The company has also stuck to Qualcomm’s flagship silicon since the OnePlus One. So it stands to reason that the Snapdragon 875 will power these new devices.
OnePlus also promised last year that all future phones would feature a high refresh rate display. So expect the OnePlus 9 series to continue this trend.
