- T-Mobile accidentally released specifications for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro before launch.
- As you’d expect, the display and cameras make all the difference – performance should be the same.
- You will receive all the details on March 23rd.
You don’t have to wait until March 23 to get official details for the OnePlus 9 series – T-Mobile spoiled part of the show in advance. Evan Blass has a well-known leaker discovered that the carrier published (and quickly removed) support pages prior to its official debut, listing the key specifications for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.
The T-Mobile slip up again suggests that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will differ greatly depending on the camera and display technology. Both American configurations will reportedly use Snapdragon 888 chips, carry 8GB to 12GB of RAM, and come with 128GB to 256GB of storage. You will also have 4,500mAh batteries. If you’re just looking for a fast Android phone, either model should do the job – though you don’t get perks like dual SIM slots.

According to T-Mobile, there will be reasons to choose OnePlus 9 Pro over the standard version. The Pro phone focuses on a 6.7-inch 1440p screen instead of the 1080p panel on the OnePlus 9 base. The 9 Pro has a more sophisticated camera setup than its regular 50MP, 48MP, 8MP counterpart – and 2MP rear sensors A normal handset drops the 8 megapixel camera.
Of course, T-Mobile hasn’t revealed everything about the OnePlus 9 range of products. You can expect OnePlus to cover a lot more about the Hasselblad branded camera system, software, and pricing at its launch event. This also does not apply to the 9R and other possible international variants. However, this can help you choose a model (if any) before pre-orders begin.
