- The OnePlus 9 Pro’s renderers leaked.
- The phone is expected to have a curved display and a quad camera setup.
- The design seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 8 Pro and the OnePlus 8T.
The OnePlus 9 series is slated to hit the market in mid-March 2021, but it doesn’t seem too good at escaping leaks. After the popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer tried out the renders of the Vanilla OnePlus 9 earlier this month, he has now published alleged renderings for the OnePlus 9 Pro voice.
The leaker claims the renderers are from a prototype of the phone, but says much of that design is set in stone. However, you can expect some changes to the final OnePlus 9 Pro unit that hits the market.
OnePlus 9 Pro is being rendered
In contrast to the flat screen we saw with the OnePlus 9 rendering, the OnePlus 9 Pro is said to use a curved 6.7-inch display just like the OnePlus 8 Pro. Just like its predecessor, the phone even has a hole in the left corner of the screen.
The biggest design change on the OnePlus 9 Pro appears to be a Note 20-like rectangular camera array on the back. The OnePlus 8T and the new Nord phones also share similar rear camera housings, so the design isn’t too far from home for OnePlus.
Hemmerstoffer claims that the phone has up to four camera sensors on the back. Two of these four are surrounded by “huge” metal rings that protrude slightly from the camera body.
Unfortunately, the leaker does not provide details on the camera specifications.
Elsewhere, the OnePlus 9 Pro-Render shows show speakers at the bottom. The alarm control and power switch are on the right of the device, while the volume rocker is on the left. You can browse the renderings by tapping the images above.
