OnePlus 8T launch event: Start times and how to watch
OnePlus is kicking off its third major smartphone event of the year today, following in the footsteps of the OnePlus North event in August and the OnePlus 8 event in April.
The company will pull back the curtain on the OnePlus 8T and a few other products. Here’s what you need to know about the launch event and how to watch it.
When does the OnePlus 8T launch event begin?
OnePlus will kick off the event on October 14th at 10 a.m. EDT. Here is the time to await her on your neck of the woods.

What do we actually expect?
The OnePlus 8T actually comes to this event, as the name suggests. According to OnePlus, the phone will include a 120Hz screen, a hole cutout, and 65W wired charging. We also expect the flagship silicon, a 4,500 mAh battery and a 48-megapixel quad rear camera setup.
A special edition of OnePlus Nord is in preparation and will likely be available in a sandstone version. This is a throwback to the original OnePlus One and its sandstone textured back. Leaks have also shown the existence of the OnePlus Buds Z and OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z-Bass Edition, so we’re on the lookout for these too.
We’ve also found extensive leaks related to the OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 budget phones, but these devices are believed to be launched on October 26th instead.
One thing that you definitely shouldn’t expect is a OnePlus 8T Pro, as CEO Pete Lau previously confirmed that no new Pro model will be announced that day. Instead, the OnePlus founder referred consumers to the OnePlus 8 Pro if they still want a premium experience.
