The OnePlus 8 is not a Pro or Plus model, but not a lightweight. This Snapdragon 865 powered phone offers much of the excitement of the larger OnePlus 8 Pro with features like a 90Hz display and fast charging for $ 200 less.
Whether you run the OnePlus 8 with a screen set to 60 Hz or 90 Hz, you will get top-notch performance. The phone did well in benchmarks, outperforming 99% of all other devices in the 3DMark, Geekbench, and GFXBench databases.
The 4,300 mAh battery of the OnePlus 8 only has a 4.6% lower capacity than the Pro version and is much larger than the 3,800 mAh battery of the OnePlus 7T. It has consistently taken hold of a day and a half of normal use for us, and sometimes stretched to nearly a day and a half. A 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage complete the package.
