TL; DR

  • An official looking rendering of Xiaomi’s upcoming 11T series has been leaked.
  • The phones could apparently have a similar styling with internal differences.
  • Xiaomi will host a launch event on September 15th.

We saw leaked specs and little else regarding the upcoming Xiaomi 11T series. However, a new, official-looking rendering may have given us the best look at the devices.

Date back to 91 Cell Phones and Leaker Ishan Agarwal, the rendering was reportedly sourced from an overzealous retail list of the devices. The report suggests that while the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro may have different core specs, they could be of a similar design.

So what are the most obvious physical features? Well, a darkened camera array houses three cameras on the back. Two are larger than the third, while an oval lightning bolt sits next to the center sensor. The camera branding is also visible, indicating a 108 MP main camera. While 91 Cell Phones believes both phones could have a 108 MP sensor, previous leaks suggest the 11T could come with a 64 MP OmniVision sensor instead. The same leak suggests that there could also be an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 3-way tele-macro shooter on the device.

Other details worth mentioning include a center-mounted punch-hole shooter on the front, a slim speaker that runs right above the bezel, and a volume rocker / power button on the right flank of the phone. The colors on display include Meteorite Gray, Celestial Blue and Moonlight White.

Beyond the design, previous leaks have brought light into the interior of the phones. The Xiaomi 11T should bring a MediaTek SoC. Its Pro sibling is said to contain a Snapdragon 888 SoC with 120 W charging power and a 5,000 mAh battery. Both phones are believed to be wearing 120 Hz OLED panels.

Xiaomi is hosting a launch event on September 15, which could also debut the company’s 11T series.
