The Mandalorian Season 2 (October 30th)
Is there a TV season more expected than this show in 2020? We don’t think so. The first season of The Mandalorian in 2019 was a surprising success and helped drive Disney Plus subscriber numbers. Can lightning strike twice for this Star Wars-based live-action series? Most of the details of the second season’s plot are closely monitored, but you can expect the bounty hunter and his companion The Child (aka Baby Yoda) to face even more threats in this series.

The Right Stuff Season 1 (October 9)
Tom Wolfe’s book about the beginnings of the US space program, published in 1979, became a huge bestseller. It was later turned into a critically acclaimed 1983 film. Now Disney Plus will debut the first season of the TV series The Right Stuff. This National Geographic-produced docudrama primarily focuses on the original Mercury Seven astronauts in their first season, selected as America’s first humans in space in 1959.
Clouds (October 16)
This Disney Plus original film tells the true story of Zach Sobiech. He was a 17 year old high school graduate with incredible musical talent. However, his life changed when he was diagnosed with bone cancer. Sobiech only had a few months to live and decided to invest more time in his music. He wrote and sang a song, Clouds, that went viral on the internet and peaked at number 1 on iTunes in 2013.
What’s new at Disney Plus in October 2020?
Here is the full list of what’s new for October. It will also feature a brand new animated short from Frozen, Once Upon a Snowman. You can also expect more Disney films to be added to the service, such as the Original Maleficent and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. The final full season of The Simpsons, season 31, will also be released in October.
