New Alienware gaming notebooks include latest Nvidia GeForce mobile GPUs

Alienware notebooks are getting a major upgrade soon. As part of CES 2021, Dell’s gaming department has announced new R4 versions of its m15 and m17 gaming notebooks. Both laptops contain the next-generation GeForce RTX 30 series mobile GPUs from Nvidia.
Alienware said the new GPUs were made with 12-phase graphic voltage regulation for advanced gaming marathons. Both notebooks also support Alienware Cryo-Tech vapor chamber technology to keep the laptops cool for long hours of gaming. The notebooks also have HDMI connections that support connection to large televisions with the new HDMI 2.1 standard. That means you can view content on your TV with 4K resolutions at 120 Hz. Both notebooks are available in the colors Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon and will go on sale on January 26th.

The Alienware m15 R4 has a 15.6-inch display with options for a 1,920 x 1,080 300 Hz display or an OLED 3840 x 2160 60 Hz display with Tobii eye tracking technology. It supports up to 4 TB of storage and up to 32 GB of RAM. You can use either the 10th generation Intel Core i7-10870H CPU or the Core i9-10980HK chip. Depending on the configuration, the notebook weighs either 4.65 pounds or 5.5 pounds. You also get three USB ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port, a MiniDisplay port and a microSD card slot. The starting price for the notebook is $ 2,149.99.
The updated 17.3-inch Alienware m17 R4 notebook offers the option to use a 360 Hz display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 for smoother graphics for games that support high refresh rates. Display options also include a 1,920 x 1,080 144 Hz screen and one with a 3840 x 2160 60 Hz OLED screen and Tobii eye tracking technology. The hardware options are the same as for the m15 R4. The starting price of the m17 is also $ 2,149.99.
In addition to the new Alienware notebooks, the company has just released a new version of its Alienware Aurora desktop PC. The Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10 offers options for integrating the latest CPUs of the Ryzen 5000 series from AMD up to the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.9 GHz. Choose from the latest AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 GPUs.
The new desktop supports up to 128 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 4 TB memory. It also has its own airflow design and vapor chamber technology that helps keep it from overheating. The desktop is available in the colors Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon and is on sale today at a starting price of $ 1,079.99.
