We keep our fingers crossed that the upcoming National Treasure film and TV series will be as action-packed as the National Treasure film from 2004.

If you miss the actor Nicolas Cage Hunt for treasures while teaching us a thing or two about historical conspiracies, and you’re lucky with the upcoming one National Treasure 3 film.
However, there is also a separate National Treasure TV series Disney PlusAccording to producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
“We are certainly working on one [National Treasure] for streaming and we’re working on one for the big screen. ” Bruckheimer told Collider on Thursday. “Hopefully the two will come together and we’ll bring you another national treasure, but they’re both very active. The one for Disney Plus is a much younger cast. It’s the same concept but a young cast. The one for theater would be the same cast.”
Good to know that the National Treasure 3 film still runs on the “same cast” that Cage would include. However, don’t be too excited about the movie yet. It looks like the TV series could debut earlier than the film.
“The film version is currently being written,” added Bruckheimer. “The TV version is in progress. We have created a pilot script and an overview of the future consequences.”
Bruckheimer will produce National Treasure 3, while Chris Bremner will write the screenplay. No word yet about the cast, directors, or writers of the National Treasure TV series on Disney Plus.
National Treasure 3 film follows in 2004 National treasure and 2007 National Treasure: Book of Secrets, where Bruckheimer acted as producer.
In the previous National Treasure films, Cage played Benjamin Franklin Gates, a historian and cryptologist who searches for treasures through cryptic clues hidden in American historical artifacts like the Declaration of Independence.
Bruckheimer and Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
