Multiplayer Final Fantasy is coming to Switch, PS4 on Aug. 27
When you conquered Final Fantasy 7 remakeYou are probably ready for another dose of the classic RPG series. Square Enix continues to deliver August 27thwhen the remastered Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles hits Nintendo Switch, PS4, Android and iOS devices after a while delay.
You can join up to four friends to fight enemies and solve puzzles while traveling to collect magical fuel for crystals that protect cities from the dangerous miasma – a fairly typical old school Final Fantasy Action.
The original version of Crystal chroniclesthat holds one 80 reviews on Metacritic was released on Nintendo GameCube in 2003. The four-player mode was a bit painful because up to three Game Boy Advances had to be connected to the console.
This remaster will be a major upgrade with improved audio and graphics features, new voice-over characters and dungeons. It also contains Crossplay with online supportSo it doesn’t matter which system you install it on or where your friends are. It also has a new one “Mimic” functionThis allows you to change the appearance of one character to that of another that you got to know on your adventure. So when you meet a particularly cool looking person, you can basically become them.
If you can’t wait until August, most of the old Final Fantasy games are available on modern devices. Final Fantasy 8 Remastered is a particularly good option.
