TL; DR
- The Motorola Edge 20’s renders and specs have been leaked.
- The phone is expected to come with the Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, a 120 Hz display and a 108 MP main camera.
We heard about Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Plus a few weeks ago when the phones were spotted on a number of TENAA lists. Now, thanks to serial tippers, high-resolution renderings and key specifications of the standard Motorola Edge 20 have leaked PriceBaba and Steve Hemmerstoffer aka AufLeaks.
Unlike last year, the Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Plus are unlikely to be real flagships with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The latest leak suggests that the Edge 20 is powered by the Snapdragon 778 chipset. The SoC is essentially a tweaked version of the Snapdragon 780 and offers significant improvements over the Snapdragon 768G that was found in upper mid-range phones from last year.
Aside from the chipset, the latest leak also shows that the Motorola Edge 20 will have a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device is said to contain 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, upgradeable to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The phone’s triple rear camera is believed to include a 108 MP primary sensor, a 16 MP secondary sensor, and an 8 MP shooter. The package should run on one 4,000 mAh battery per leak.

Elsewhere, leaked renders of the Motorola Edge 20 show the phone has a punch-hole selfie camera in the center of a flat display. The power button appears to have a built-in fingerprint sensor and the phone is said to measure 169.1 x 75.5 x 8.9 mm with a thickness of 11.6 mm, including the rectangular camera hump.
