Motorola could be stepping up its low-end game
- Moto E7 renders appear to have been leaked online.
- The obvious upgrades include a bigger battery, a fingerprint scanner, and two rear cameras.
Motorola’s E-series was generally the cheapest smartphone line in their portfolio, and it offers the basics at a reasonable price. The Moto E7 Plus was launched earlier this year, but we haven’t heard about the standard model yet.
Fortunately, Twitter tipster Abhishek has Yadav now sent Renderings of the Vanilla Moto E7. The pictures show a phone with a double rear camera, fingerprint scanner on the back and a water drop notch ahead. The pictures also show turquoise and gray colors. Check them out below.
Yadav also claims that the phone will come with a 6.5-inch HD + panel, 48MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 5MP selfie camera, 4,000mAh battery, and Android 10.
There’s no word on the processor, but that would be a significant upgrade for the Moto E6 on some points. The E6 offers a single 13-megapixel rear view camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. So we expect better picture quality and a longer lifespan with the new phone. The older phone also lacks a fingerprint scanner, so we could be set for an upgrade here as well. The only major downside is that the E7 doesn’t seem to ship with the latest version of Android.
The Moto E6 retails for approximately $ 150 in the United States. So we expect a similar price for this device when it goes to the US. Hopefully, given the increasing competition from companies like Xiaomi and Realme, the company will deal with more attractive prices in Europe and India. Looking for more budget goodness?
