Mid-range Qualcomm gaming phones in the works
According to the report, the chip is called Qualcomm SM6375, which is said to have four higher clock cores and four slower cores. History reports that there could be up to four variations of these chips and they could have cores that could run up to 2.5 GHz. It is also claimed to be tested on developer phones with displays with 144Hz refresh rate, which is the same as the Asus ROG Phone 5. It is speculated that when the chip is finally announced and built into commercial phones, it could have the Snapdragon 695 trademark.
