- Realme announced the Narzo 30 Pro and the Narzo 30A.
- The Pro model has 5G support and a 120 Hz screen.
- Realme also announced several gaming accessories and new TWS earbuds.
Realme’s Narzo series is characterized by high-performance silicon and large batteries, and this at a very affordable price. Now the company has announced the Narzo 30 30 Pro and the Narzo 30A. What do you get this time?
The Narzo 30 Pro is the standout device here that contains a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor. This chipset offers an Octacore CPU (2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55), a Mali-G57 MC-GPU and 5G + 5G dual SIM support. The Realme phone also has a 6.5-inch 120 Hz FHD + LCD screen with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
5G and a high refresh rate both take a lot of juice. We are pleased that the new phone includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging time. The company says it takes a respectable 65 minutes to reach 100% capacity, which isn’t bad for a battery of this size.
Narzo phones are not up to date with camera functionality, but there is a triple camera setup on the back of the Narzo 30 Pro. Expect a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter (119-degree field of view), and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Meanwhile, a 16-megapixel camera in a cutout makes selfie compulsory.
The Realme Narzo 30 Pro costs Rs 16,999 (~ $ 235) for the 6GB / 64GB model, while the 8GB / 128GB variant costs Rs 19,999 (~ $ 276) . The device will be available in Sword Black and Blade Silver.
What else has Realme announced?
Realme also announced the Narzo 30A, which is a step or two below the Pro variant. The biggest selling point, however, is the battery, which theoretically holds a 6,000 mAh battery for multiple days of use. Unfortunately, only 18W cable charges (via USB-C) are packaged.
The new phone has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with an Octacore CPU (2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. You also get a 6.5-inch HD + LCD screen, although it has a standard refresh rate of 60Hz.
You also get a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel main shooter and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. An 8 megapixel camera in a notch handles your selfies and video calls. This selfie camera also allows for face unlocking, but you also have a rear fingerprint scanner for more secure authentication.
Expect to pay Rs 8,999 (~ USD 124) for the 3GB / 32GB Realme Narzo 30A, while the 4GB / 64GB model retails for Rs 9,999 (~ USD 138). It is available in the colors Laser Blue and Laser Black.
The company also announced a variety of gaming accessories including a clip-on fan for Rs 1,799 (~ $ 25), a Black Shark-style mobile game controller for Rs 999 (~ $ 14), and finger grips for Rs 129 (~ $ 2). .
Realme also launched the true Realme Buds Air 2 wireless earbuds, which offer active noise cancellation, up to 25 hours of playback with the case (or five hours otherwise), Bluetooth 5.2, and an IPX5 rating. Unfortunately, only AAC and SBC audio codecs are supported. Even so, Realme says you will pay Rs 3,299 (~ $ 46).
