MediaTek-powered Realme X7 series set for India
- Realme has hinted that the Realme X7 and X7 Pro could be coming to India.
- The Realme X7 Pro could therefore be the first MediaTek flagship on the market.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000 series is the flagship for 2020, offering powerful CPU cores, impressive silicon for machine learning, and solid graphics. We haven’t seen phones come to India with this silicon, but that may change soon.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India indicated on Twitter that the company will launch the Realme X7 and X7 Pro soon. Check out a screenshot of the tweet below.
There’s no word on availability and pricing yet, but the Realme X7 series was launched in China last month, and the company later announced that it is slated for a European launch in Q4 2020.
The Realme X7 Pro is likely MediaTek’s first flagship in India to include a Dimensity 1000 Plus processor. This 7 nm chipset offers an Octacore CPU (4x Cortex-A77 and 4x Cortex-A55), a Mali-G77 MP9 GPU, a five-core APU and support for the AV1 codec.
Realme’s Pro model also has a 6.55-inch 120 Hz OLED panel, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
The standard Realme X7 has a Dimensity 800U processor, a 6.4-inch 60 Hz OLED screen, 6 GB to 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 4,300 mAh battery.
The Realme X7 and X7 Pro also offer a number of other features, such as: B. 5G + 5G dual SIM support, wired charging with 65 W, a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a hole cutout and the same setup of the quad rear camera (64-megapixel main camera, 8 MP) ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP monochrome).
