Mark Hamill had a secret cameo in Disney’s The Mandalorian
Actor Mark Hamill is the droid you are looking for in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian on Disney Plus.
The Star Wars documentary behind the scenes Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian revealed that Hamill had made a secret cameo in an episode of the show. But he didn’t play his most famous Star Wars role as Luke Skywalker.
Hamill pronounced the droid bartender EV-9D9, who works in the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine in Episode 5 in season 1 of The Mandalorian.
Hamill tweeted on Saturday that he not only voiced the droid, but also in many more Star Wars films that fans may not realize thanks to Star Wars sound designer Matthew Wood. Apparently actor Patrick Williams is actually Hamill.
“Now that the Mandalorian mystery is open, I can also be vocalized in all Star Wars films except for the prequels. Thanks to Matt Wood who used me in Rogue One, Solo & the Sequels, so I have lines in Ep VII. Note: Look for roles played by Patrick Williams. “

The second season of The Mandalorian will debut on Disney Plus in October 2020.
