Logitech adds Apple versions of its MX Master 3 mouse and MX Keys keyboard

Logitech is excellent MX Master 3 Mouse and Keyboard with MX keys always worked perfectly with Windows and Mac computers as well as with Apple iPads. But Logitech heard from enough people who wanted Apple-centric versions that it decided to develop the MX Master 3 for Mac and the MX Keys for Mac (both $ 100). International pricing is not currently available, but $ 100 is around £ 80 or AU $ 150.

Both will be available worldwide in August along with a Mac version of the K380 Bluetooth keyboard ($ 40). They all cost the same as their standard counterparts and will surely benefit Apple users who work from home during the pandemic.

Cosmetically, the Apple versions of the MX Master 3 and MX Keys remain unchanged with one major difference: they are now available in the room gray color from Apple. Apart from that, they are instantly “tuned” for Mac and Apple, which the digital content developers have kept a close eye on. They improved MacOS optimization and iPadOS compatibility for “more speed and precision,” says Logitech. Even so, they still work with other devices, including Windows computers.

The Logitech K380 for Mac has a keyboard layout specific to MacOS. iOS and iPadOS. It will be available in the colors rose (see picture below) and cream. The K380 is one of my favorite full size, compact keyboards. Although there is no built-in stand for an iPad or iPhone, you can pair up to three devices with it and switch between them with the three easy-switch buttons on the top left of the keyboard. According to Logitech, the device has dedicated Mac keys in rows F and A and lasts two years with two AAA batteries.

MX Keys for Mac has Mac-optimized firmware, is equipped with USB-C to USB-C charging and enables you to easily switch between MacBook, iPad and iPhone.
