Game phones have always been careful about their physical design. Some brands rely on RGB lighting, shocking colors or transparent backplates. Leaked footage of the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro suggests the Chinese company will continue this trend.
Live footage has been posted on Weibo showing the possible final design of the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. Users have to settle for a minimal bezel at the bottom of the display, but don’t have to worry about a notch or a camera cutout. A 44-megapixel pop-up camera attached to the side provides for selfie recordings. However, it is the rear design that really stands out. Check out the pictures below.
The center of the Legion 2 Pro’s rear panel has a collar-like bulge. It includes the Legion logo, the main OmniVision 64MP camera, and the tertiary shooter. A small fan is also visible, with the vents facing to the side. Lenovo had teased two fans to better cool the Snapdragon 888 and 16 GB of RAM. Air vents are also visible on the side of the phone.
Adding a liquid cooling system should give the Snapdragon chipset more power, but the Legion 2 Pro’s design may not be for everyone. Lenovo’s first gaming phone, the Legion Phone Duel, arguably has a tastier aesthetic.
Not only do we know that the Legion 2 Pro has a 6.92-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720 Hz. The phone is powered by a 5,500 mAh battery.
The Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will be unveiled in China on April 8th. Price and availability details are expected to be announced later this week. What do you think of the design? Let us know by taking the survey below.
