Keep cool with this handheld rechargeable fan for $10 (Update: Sold out)
Good morning, cheap skates! (Or, as I like to call you, “cheeps”.) I hope you all had a safe and relaxing vacation. The highlight of mine: See Hamilton on Disney Plus. Guys, I am Not a musical type. I like Singing in the Rain and Chicago and that’s it. But Hamilton is absolutely amazing, a work of art full of catchy tunes. And now you can see it without spending hundreds of dollars on tickets. With only seven dollars you buy Disney Plus every month.
Off to business. It was here in Michigan hot. Africa hot. Tarzan couldn’t take this kind of heat. (Name the movie reference!) Whether you’re inside or outside, it’s a relief when you can get a little cool air. Especially for such a small price: For a limited time and while stocks last, the Amazon seller LeconeDirect has it Lecone USB Handheld Fan for $ 10.19. This happens after you’ve cut off the 10% discount coupon on the page and then applied the coupon code CQJP4DLS at checkout. (If the coupon disappears, your final price will be $ 11.89 – still a very solid deal.) To update: Sold out!
At first glance, I said, “Meh, a rechargeable hand fan.” But then I saw that it has four speed settings and an adjustable 180 degree hinge, which means you can put it on a table, desk, or bedside table to cool your hands free. Sweet!
According to Lecone, the built-in battery is suitable for an operating time of up to 16 hours and can be charged via a USB connection with a power supply. In the meantime, the front cover is removable, so you can easily clean the fan blades if necessary.
This is a new product (or at least a new listing), which explains why there are no user reviews. But what shouldn’t you like? It can keep you cool on the go or on the spot and doesn’t chew on disposable batteries. I am in one.

Best AfterShokz Air deal so far: $ 65 (less for new customers!)
I like listening to music or podcasts when I run or ride a bike, but wearing traditional sports headphones is a problem: the earphones block outside noise and make it difficult to hear cars, scooters, and other potential hazards. How can I enjoy my audio while maintaining “situational awareness”?
Answer: Bone conduction headphones that sit in front of your ears instead of above or in them and produce sound through your cheekbones. (True story.) AfterShokz pretty much owns this product category and with good reason: the headphones work really well.
However, they are expensive and sales are rare – especially a sale as good. Only today and while stocks last, HSN has the AfterShokz Air Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones for $ 64.99. This is the lowest price I’ve seen, and it may go lower: new customers can save an additional $ 5 using the coupon code HSNFIVE. The last time I shared an Air Deal: $ 96!
I have been an AfterShokz user (and fan) for years and mainly use this model. I don’t write about it often because, as mentioned earlier, they are expensive and rarely on sale.
In the meantime, my wife and brother-in-law have only recently used AfterShokz, and both love She. His unsolicited comment to me not long ago: “[These are the] The best thing that ever happened to me – of course after the marriage and the children. ”
