This week in episode 4, Krasinski went far beyond – into space. Astronauts on the International Space Station flashed a floating SGN banner with the background number Zoom Conference could ever be on top: the colossal curve of the earth, shrouded in clouds.
Celebrity cameos, Brad Pitt replaced Robert De Niro as a SGN weather reporter. Yes, you read that correctly. (Jump to 6:55.)
Krasinski then went on to throw the biggest names together to organize a virtual prom for the 2020 class. He consulted exThe office costar Rainn Wilson, Chance the Rapper and the Jonas Brothers who performed Sucker via Zoom for those who were dressed in their bedrooms.
And then the capper: Billie Eilish and her brother and songwriting partner Finneas O’Connell came over to play Bad Guy. Class of 2020, hope you enjoyed the virtual prom.
